A Message from the Superintendent
As the 2021-2022 school year has drawn to a close, I'd like
to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to
the students, faculty, staff and administration of the White
County School System.
This year has been full of successes and challenges. I am
continually amazed by the talents of our students and faculty
who have achieved numerous awards at the local and state
levels in academics as well as sports and the arts. We truly
have a district filled with Warriors working to impact the world in the best ways.
The White County School System along with the support of the Board of
Education, PTAs, booster clubs and the community always seem to find creative
and efficient ways to create an educational experience that sets White County
apart. We remain committed to providing our students multiple opportunities to
learn and grow in order to prepare them for success.
Mahatma Gandhi once said that, “The future depends on what we do in the
present.” As the WCHS Class of 2022 prepares to move on to college, careers and
other endeavors, I believe they will look back on their time in White County and
feel good about all they have accomplished. Our faculty, staff and administrators
strive to provide the best possible educational foundation for our students that
will prepare them for the rest of their lives.
Congratulations Class of 2022! Your perseverance throughout your
educational career, including a pandemic that impacted the entire world, is just
another reason why I am so proud of your graduating class. I am excited to see
what great things each of you will do in the next chapter of your lives and don't
ever forget that you are a Warrior and you have been trained to #BEMORE.
