Federal and State Programs

White County receives multiple federal grants to supplement state and local funds to ensure a quality education for all students. All of the elementary schools in White County receive Title I monies that pay for instructional supports that normally would not be available to students due to lack of funding. The following federal grants are granted to the White County School System.

Parent Input Needed
What: A meeting to review the system Comprehensive Local Improvement Plan and the Parent Involvement Plan for White County School District
Who: Parents of students at Mount Yonah Elementary, Mossy Creek Elementary, Jack P. Nix Elementary and Tesnatee Gap Elementary
When: Thursday, September 21, 2017 @ 5:30 pm
Where: White County School System Board of Education
Why: Title I eligible schools must provide parents with opportunities to be involved in revisions of important Title I documents. Your input is greatly needed and appreciated
